The new 2023 version of the FST timing chain tensioner for YZF R125 V1-V2 - MT125 V1, is the result of R&D that took into account various customer opinions.
FST has therefore found a new partner in France, whose quality of machining is really in another dimension compared to the old version.
Here is the new composition:
1 plate cut in the mass of aluminum type aviation
1 stud tensioner screw with a CHC hollow head + 1 large size M8 nut + 1 special washer
2 domed CHC screws for fixing + 2 special washers

The functionality remains the same because it is well known to preparers and web communities that the timing tensioner tends to drop suddenly without warning and which leads to common engine failure (valve salad and other fun things).
FST offers you this aluminum manual timing chain tensioner for Yamaha-Minarelli 125 4T LC cylinders, with a nut and safety washer system ensuring the tension you want and assembly is really simple to do.
We recommend this timing tensioner for anyone racing and with Street Racing 125, 150, 180, 200cc and big block engines.
During start-up, if your motor whistles, please loosen it slightly until you no longer hear it.
Use Loctite 3020 for mounting the seal for better sealing.
